WEEK 6 

This week we started a new project but related to the previous one.

We have to create a concept art based on the story that we create for the audio animation.

For this we need to identify what are the main characteristic about the film, feel wise and also visual. The words that I think my animation transmit is peaceful and warm, or at least I’m going to try and convey it.

We will be answering some question to help us develop more this description during the week on a small questionnaire.

I have already done a few sketches of possible options for the concept art. A simple one point perspective with a slight angle that seems to create a curve in the drawing.

Also a birds eye view where you can see better the water in the bathtub and I could also include the little characters in it.

Because the protagonists of my story are super tiny and it’s the surprise in the story having a perspective that shows their pov could be also adequate and coherent.

But in that way it could be difficult to show elements like the inside of the bathtub, sink and others.

Style wise, I quite like the direction that I was taking with the concept art for the last project, with a quite illustrative feel (imitating coloured pencils and pastels). I could still explore other techniques and include new element not seen in the animation that gives us more information about this world of miniature people living in a bathroom.
